As part of the specialised Haemoglobinopathies service review, we held focus groups in September with clinicians, patients & carers in Manchester, Birmingham & London. These were opportunities to discuss what works well with current services, where the challenges lie and to explore early thinking on new ways of working – and these discussions have helped us to further refine our thinking in developing proposals for a new model of care.
We would now like to open up these conversations with colleagues across the country, to understand how this proposed model of care could work in your region. At the moment all events are planned to take place 10am – 3pm.
Details are now confirmed so please book for your regional session by clicking the links below – and feel free to forward to colleagues who may have been missed off the mailing list. Please note that these sessions are aimed specifically at clinicians and service managers – however some webinars for patients and carers are also planned, and details will be circulated via the Haemoglobinopathies CRG stakeholder list (and by sharing with the societies and patient groups) next week.
If you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
